Except for buying oil from Iran, this exemption can take away from America, India
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo can announce on Monday that the US will no longer allow exemption from the rest of the country including India.
Due to the purchase of oil from Iran, America can end the exemption of sanctions in five countries including India. These countries include China, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey besides India. US officials gave this information on Sunday
Actually, the US had exempted these five countries from any kind of sanctions till May 2, but US Secretary of State Mike Pompey can announce on Monday that the United States will now forward four other countries, including India. Do not discount the ban.
On the condition of identification, some other officials said that on Friday, Donald Trump has taken a decision in this regard. The US wants to put pressure on Iran by reducing its oil exports.
After separating himself from the nuclear deal in 2015, the US again imposed some restrictions on Iran. After this, the American administration had lifted restrictions on one another, including India, one by one. This was done so that in other times other countries could find any other option of energy.
US officials say there will be no shortage of oil supply because of the ban, because other countries, including the United States and Saudi Arabia, have increased oil production. Italy, Greece, and Taiwan have stopped buying oil from Iran since November, but the rest of the five countries are working together to prevent any kind of restriction against them.
